The course will consist of 5 modules (5x 3 hours):

Module 1: Introduction to the course: Terminology, Definitions, Current and Historical multilingual contexts

Module 2: Understanding Multilingualism: language ideologies and language policies and language practices

Module 3: Understanding multilingualism as a complex, dynamic and multidimensional phenomenon in the ELT classroom

Module 4: Teaching multilingually: Engaging and visualising multilingualism in the classroom

Module 5: Teaching multilingually: Implementing and integrating plurilingual activities and strategies, and selecting appropriate resources
