Background and Rationale

As part of the Erasmus+ mobility project, we had the opportunity to participate in the teacher training course “Creative Teachers, Motivated Learners and the Humanistic Teacher.” This experience provided valuable insights into humanistic approaches to education, emphasizing creativity, empathy, and learner motivation. To ensure that the knowledge and methods gained during this training benefit a wider community of teachers, this webinar aims to disseminate practical, hands-on activities and strategies that can be easily adapted to diverse teaching contexts.

Aim of the webinar

The main aim of this one-hour webinar is to share humanistic teaching practices that foster learner motivation, engagement, and creativity in the classroom.

Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Discover practical classroom activities inspired by the Creative Teachers, Motivated Learners and the Humanistic Teacher course.
  • Reflect on the role of creativity and empathy in building positive learning environments.
  • Explore strategies to promote student motivation and collaboration.
  • Gain tools to adapt these ideas to their own educational contexts.

Teachers interested in creative methodologies, motivation strategies, and humanistic approaches to teaching (from primary to secondary level, recruitment groups 120, 220, 330)

  • A set of ready-to-use creative classroom activities.
  • Inspiration to apply humanistic principles in their teaching practice.
  • A deeper understanding of how creativity enhances motivation and learning.

Dissemination and impact

This webinar contributes to the dissemination of Erasmus+ outcomes by promoting humanistic pedagogical practices within the school and broader educational community. It supports the European objective of fostering teacher professional development, intercultural exchange, and creativity in education.
