Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will:

- feel well-equipped with ideas on the content areas listed below

- be in a better position to adapt and complement their syllabus and coursebooks

- have numerous strategies to support weaker learners and challenge stronger ones (differentiation & inclusivity)

- understand the different elements involved in creative primary teaching

- be able to focus their lessons more effectively on target language

- have a range of techniques for exploiting language occurring spontaneously in class (emergent language)

- be better able to deal with surprises

- feel confident allowing their learners more of a voice
