Abstract: As headmaster of an infant and primary school in the community of Madrid that began to offer bilingual education in 2010, we are going to talk about how to develop a bilingual program in a school and about the key factors that provide high-quality instruction.

The aim of the session is to know how the program works, how we have implemented it, and how the involvement of the school staff is crucial to ensure success. Therefore we will focus on the role the management team plays to support bilingual teaching in the school.
